The notarial act is identical — the difference is where it happens. A bank notary serves you during banking hours, at the branch, usually only for account holders and only for documents they recognize. A mobile notary travels to you, handles document types a teller will decline, and books outside business hours. For a hospital bedside or a five-person estate signing, mobile is often the only workable option.
